What is a Network Church?

We're all part of networks - families, friends, work, home and social to name a few. All churches are made up of people with lots of different networks.  At Emmanuel Network Church we're trying to encourage our members to recognise the networks that they're involved with outside the times we gather. We  believe that God doesn't just live in Churches but that he's at work throughout the world including our networks. As followers of Jesus we want to make a positive difference in the lives of those around us, as we imitate Him.


Many churches are defined by the buildings in which they meet and the worship services that take place in those buildings. ENC doesn't have a building and meets in a number of different places, including a bar, people's homes and a local Methodist Church. While prayer and worship are an important part of the life of our community so is eating together and sharing the good and bad bits of life.  We believe that one of the best ways we can live authentic Christian lives in our networks is by being part of a real community.



A real community shares our successes and failures and loves us enough to tell us when they think we're making bad decisions as well as good ones. With this community supporting us we are hoping to live lives that reflect the good things we believe we've experienced from God and make a positive impact on the world around us.
