What Has Been Happening Recently?

Besom is now closed for the summer (people generally don't volunteer to give their time in the months of July and August) but don't worry we'll be back in operation in September.

We recently made a return visit to a lady with a young child who had lost all her furniture when she was burgled. We were able to supply another bed and some other furntiure to go with the wardrobe, bed and shelves that we delivered last tme.

We were able to help a man who has recently been released from prison and who was mugged and lost the money he had been given to help settle into a new life.

We delivered some furniture to a young care leaver who was studying for her A-levels. Now she has a table to work and eat at, a bookshelf to keep her papers on and a couch to sit on.

We have also restarted doing projects. Recently a group of people went to Fallowfields Community Hall and sorted out the garden. We have also seen some time-givers do some decorating, helping out a single mum by painting her hallway, kitchen and bathroom.

Prayer Requests

What is happening Next?

We will be panning some van days in September and October. We will put the dates here as soon as we know them.

We have begun looking for more decorating projects. As soon as we know of any we'll put them here. If you are part of a group of about 5-10 people who can commit to a date about 2 months away then get in touch and we'll try and organise something for you.
